Communications Cable RS-232 to RS-422 serial cable provided in the PowerChute for Macintosh box (AP9001)

Operating System Apple Mac OS 7.x, through 8.6 AppleShare IP 3.x through 6.2

User Interface
PowerChute for Macintosh Simple user interface allows management of local UPS
UPS Administration
Enable UPS Monitoring Allows user to enable or disable UPS monitoring for a single session or indefinitely
UPS Connection Configure UPS monitoring via modem or printer port
Pass Through Connection Allows additional serial device to be attached to serial port simultaneously
Power Failure Delay Warning Delay broadcast warning of power failure (in seconds) to minimize interruptions
Shutdown/Reboot
Operating System Shutdown Gracefully shutdown operating system in the event of an extended power failure
Application Shutdown Work-in-progress is saved before operating system shutdown is initiated
Server Shutdown Timer Full control over the time between power failure and PowerChute initiated shutdown
